Crews respond to small fire incident at Frazier Homes

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Two separate emergency responses were reported near Frazier Homes on Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials at the scene, a fire response on the south side of the area involved a second-floor kitchen fire. Savannah Fire Chief Minard said crews responded to the scene, though no further details were immediately available.

A separate police response was also reported on the north side of the area. That response included three patrol units and a detective. A detective at the scene said the police response was not considered a major incident.

Schools nearby were still being dismissed at the time, and officials said there was not enough danger to warrant additional public safety concerns.
