Crews respond to house fire in Reidsville

TATTNALL COUNTY , Ga. (WTOC) - Fire crews from multiple agencies responded to a house fire in Reidsville Thursday.

When firefighters arrived at the structure fire on Azalea Street they found smoke coming from the roof of the house, according to a social media post by the Reidsville Fire Department.

When firefighters entered the home, they found a fire in the attic around an electrical box. Crews began suppression efforts and worked to ventilate the roof.

One firefighter received a medical check but did not suffer serious injuries. No one was inside the home when the fire broke out.

Crews from Reidsville Fire Department, Tattnall County Fire Department, Rogers State Prison Fire, Smith State Prison Fire and Tattnall County EMS extinguished the fire.
