Crews battle house fire on Savannah’s west side
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Fire crews responded to a residential structure fire Tuesday evening on the city’s west side.
According to the Savannah Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 7:58 p.m. to the area of Godsell Street and West Mildred Street.
Officials say units arrived on scene at approximately 8:02 p.m., with water placed on the fire by 8:05 p.m. The structure was reported to be fully involved when crews arrived.

No word yet on injuries or what may have caused the fire.
Officials say updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
