Crash with injuries closed Highway 84 in both directions

HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - A crash that left at least one person with injuries closed Highway 84 at Holmestown Road in both directions earlier today, according to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

In a social media post, the sheriff’s office said, “Due to a crash with injuries, both eastbound and westbound lanes of Hwy 84 at Holmestown Road are currently blocked.”

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office advised travelers and locals to seek an alternate route and avoid the area until the roadway is cleared.

The sheriff’s office has since updated their post to say the roadway is back up.
