Cotton harvester fire prompts multi-agency response
REIDSVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - The Reidsville Fire Department, Tattnall County Fire, Glennville Fire Department, and Smith State Prison Fire all responded to a cotton harvester on fire on Deloach/Medlock Road on December 11, 2025.
The Reidsville Fire Department says Smith State Prison Fire took charge of the incident, with Glennville and Tattnall County supplying water to put out the fire.

No injuries were reported and the cotton harvester fire was extinguished safely. However, officials say the harvester suffered extensive damage.
The Reidsville Fire Department also shared video of the cotton harvester on fire as they first reached the scene. That video is embedded below:
