City of Savannah shares downtown parking study, wants more feedback
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah wants feedback when it comes to parking in downtown Savannah. It held an open house Wednesday night, and the Parking and Mobility Services Department highlighted the results of its 2025 Parking Matters study.
The study focused on the areas of Liberty Street to Victory Drive and 45th Street, as well as MLK Blvd to East Broad Street. It highlighted balancing parking issues with other mobility modes like walking, biking and public transit.
The study also looked at the residential decal program for on-street parking.
Additionally, the findings highlighted emerging issues like parking prices and confusion over parking meter times and regulations.
If you missed Wednesday’s open house, the City of Savannah wants to hear from you. You can review the study and take an online survey about your parking experience by clicking here.
The survey will remain open through September 26th.
