City of Savannah holds open house for Railroad District improvements
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah is making plans to improve the Railroad District along Martin Luther King Junior Blvd.
Monday night the city held an open house at MLK Jr. Civic Center to share redevelopment plans that call for improving the connections between the district, the Civic Center redevelopment site and West Savannah.
City leaders are hoping to get feedback from the community about the best way to use the area and plan for the future. This includes Tricentennial park and city-owned property along Louisville Road.
