Choices Learning Academy initiates temporary safety lockdown after non-weapon related altercation
JEFF DAVIS COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Monday morning, Choices Learning Academy was placed under a safety lockdown due to a non-weapon related altercation between two students. Jeff Davis County Schools said due to its proximity to the PreK, they were also placed on lockdown.
The lockdown was initiated at 11:52 a.m. and lasted 8 minutes, confirmed the school district.
“Law enforcement responded to the call and the incident was quickly resolved,” said Jeff Davis County Schools in a statement on social media.
