Chip pile fire at International Paper Chip Mill, no injuries reported
EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - At about 5 a.m. Monday morning, Effingham County Fire Rescue responded to a fire at the International Paper Chip Mill in Eden.
When Effingham County Fire Rescue arrived, crews found a chip conveyer and a chip pile burning.

Fire crews were able to quickly control the conveyor fire. Crews then separated the pile to keep the fire from spreading.
Effingham County Fire Rescue says no buildings on site were damaged and no injuries were reported.
