CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - A man has been charged in the death of a motorcyclist in December 2025.
According to court records, Johnathan Ferrell, 51, was taken into custody Friday after being charged with misdemeanor homicide by vehicle in the second degree.
Officials with the Chatham County Police Department said on Dec. 28, 2025, officers responded to a crash on John Carter Road. A car leaving a driveway struck a motorcycle that was passing by.
The motorcyclist died several days later.
