Chatham County Sheriff’s Office to announce formation of Human Trafficking Investigation Unit
CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office is announcing a new unit, “dedicated to identifying, investigating, and disrupting human trafficking operations throughout Chatham County and neighboring jurisdictions.”
The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office said this initiative reflects Sheriff Richard Coleman’s commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and pursuing those who profit from exploitation.
Sheriff Coleman will host a press conference for the official launch of the unit, Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
