Chatham County Police Department working to locate financial card transaction fraud suspect
CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Chatham County Police Department says they are working to locate a suspect in connection with a financial card transaction fraud case.

The photo above was taken by security cameras at a bank in Augusta on April 29, 2026, as the unidentified suspect tried to withdraw funds from the victim’s account.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact police.
Anonymous tips can be sent through the Chatham County Police Department app, or the Department’s online tip form found here. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 912-234-2020, where tipsters are anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
