Doctor testifies again in Charles Teeple murder trial
A doctor who performed the autopsy of Bruce Helmly —the victim, took the stand again on Thursday. Wednesday, that doctor said his autopsy report stated Helmly’s death was caused by head trauma, categorizing that as assault.
Thursday, the defense questioned the doctor’s decision to rule out the idea that his death was caused by a stroke. The defense and doctor went back and forth on why the head trauma was the only answer to Helmly’s death.
The prosecution tried to show how doctors who worked on Helmly labeled the issue as caused by head trauma, with an assault as the cause of that trauma.
