Cat lovers to gather for first-ever WhiskerCon Savannah convention
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah will host its first-ever cat convention the weekend of Valentines Day, as One Love Animal Rescue presents WhiskerCon Savannah.
WHEN:
- February 14, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- February 15, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
WHERE:
- The Valley of Savannah Scottish Rite
- 3001 Chatham Center Dr, Savannah, GA 31405
The event will unite rescue workers, veterinary professionals, families, and cat lovers from across the Southeast, according to a media release. WhiskerCon Savannah will feature nationally recognized advocates including Hannah Shaw, known as The Kitten Lady, Sterling Davis, known as The Trap King, and Ingrid Johnson of Fundamentally Feline.
The speakers will share expertise on neonatal kitten fostering, TNR (trap-neuter-return), cat behavior, and compassionate feral cat care. Shaw will join the event on Sunday for her sessions.
“Our mission is clear: to empower the community with the knowledge and resources needed to dramatically reduce the number of cats and kittens entering our already overcrowded shelters,” organizers said.
The convention will include educational talks both days, activities for children, rescue group sign-ups, and vendor booths showcasing cat products and services. Local artists will also display their work.
All proceeds from WhiskerCon will support the cats and dogs of One Love Animal Rescue.
