Candler County deputy, K-9 handler arrested on 8 counts of animal cruelty
CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - A Candler County deputy and K-9 handler was arrested on eight counts of animal cruelty.
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office arrested James Michael Duncan Tuesday, Jan. 27. The Candler County Sheriff’s Office confirmed he was a deputy and has since been suspended. They also confirmed Duncan was a K-9 handler.
“Once we became aware of the incident, Deputy Michael Duncan was suspended pending the outcome,” said the Candler County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrest records show he was released on $10,000 bond.
