Calling all local artists, City of Savannah seeking applicants for Phase 2 of the Storm Drain Art Project
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah is seeking submissions from local artists for the Storm Drain Art Project.
This is the second phase of an educational project that will focus on 14 storm drains that flow into the Savannah River Watershed.
Artists of all backgrounds and abilities are welcome to apply!
Applicants must be residents of Chatham County and be 18 years old or older.
There will be an information session Tuesday night on Zoom to learn more about the opportunity.
The project, first established in 2022, aims to bring attention to our waterways, reduce pollution, and protect our local ecosystems through art.
Applications will close on Monday, Nov. 10 at 11:59 p.m.
