CAT to adjust Savannah bus and ferry schedules for Memorial Day

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Chatham Area Transit will operate on a holiday schedule Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

The holiday schedule will apply to all fixed-route buses. CAT Mobility will operate until 10 p.m. to mirror the fixed-route schedule, which may affect the timing and frequency of service trips.

Paratransit riders will still be able to make reservations on Memorial Day.

The DOT will operate from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., while the Savannah Belles Ferry will run on its current schedule from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. CAT Connect will operate during its regular scheduled hours.

CAT’s administrative offices will be closed Monday. However, the ticket window at the Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The transit center is located at 610 W. Oglethorpe Ave.
