Brunswick man arrested on multiple child exploitation charges
BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WTOC) - A 24-year-old Brunswick man was arrested Sunday on multiple sexual exploitation charges following a months-long investigation by the Glynn County Police Department.
Malik James faces charges of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Possession), Sexual Exploitation of Children (Enticing children for indecent purposes), and Grooming of a Minor for a Sexual Offense.

The investigation began in September 2025 when the GCPD Criminal Investigations Division received information about suspected Internet Crimes Against Children offenses in Glynn County.
Detectives executed a search warrant Sunday, December 21, 2025, at a home on the 3900 block of Darien Highway. During the search, investigators seized multiple electronic devices believed to have been used in the sexual exploitation of children.
James was interviewed and arrested following the search. He was transported to the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
