Bond denied again for man accused in deadly shooting of 74-year-old
JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - A judge denied bond again for Ja’Quan James, who is accused of shooting and killing 74-year-old Leroy Frost Sr. in August 2024.




James put in a motion for a bond to be issued in his case on March 4, 2025. The judge denied the request yesterday.
Herman Dessasure is also charged with the murder in the case. He put in a motion for a bond to be issued in his case on September 16, 2024.

Dessasure is currently in federal custody on firearms charges out of Savannah. Both men are currently being held in the Jasper County Detention Center.
