Bomb threat called into Savannah/HHI Airport Saturday
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A bomb threat was called into the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport Saturday afternoon.
Officials with the airport tell WTOC a bomb threat was called into the airport, but airport law enforcement and their K-9s have not found anything suspicious on the premise.
“The airport is working on high alert, which we’re always on and there have been no evacuations,” said Lori Lynah, Senior Director of Marketing & Air Service Development.
WTOC has a crew at the scene and only saw two extra law enforcement agents inside of the airport in the public area.
