Beaufort Police investigating shooting incident
BEAUFORT, SC. (WTOC) - The Beaufort Police Department is investigating an incident that left one person shot.
According to police, officers were responded to Shepherd Tactical, on Burton Hill Road, a little after 12 p.m. Saturday in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.
Officials say when officers arrived on scene, they learned the victim had transported themselves to the hospital.
Police say a suspect was immediately identified and taken into custody.
No other information has been released.
This investigation is ongoing and officials say there is no threat to the public.
