Beaufort County deputies searching for missing Daufuskie Island man
BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 63-year-old man.
Richard A. Phelps, of Daufuskie Island, was reported missing by family members Friday after he did not return home the night of Feb. 19.
Phelps was last seen on Daufuskie Island. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 230 pounds.
Deputies are actively searching Daufuskie Island for Phelps. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777.
