Beaufort County Sheriff’s office searching for suspect, no threat to public
BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - WTOC reached out to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office after receiving messages about a large police presence in the Burton area of Beaufort.
The sheriff’s office confirmed that there was an active scene.
Beaufort County officials told us they have a perimeter and are looking for a suspect, but advise there is no threat to the public.
