Beaufort Co. Sheriff’s Office finds missing, endangered woman safe

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - UPDATE: She was found safe around 4:35 p.m.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing and endangered woman.

According to officials, 20-year-old Kamryn Melton, of Beaufort, was last known to be at a residence on Joe Frazier Road in Burton on Friday.

Melton was reported missing by family members, and there is concern for her safety and well-being.

Melton is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds. Officials say she previously had long blonde hair, as pictured, but now has shoulder-length brown hair.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777 immediately.
