Beach High School under precautionary lockdown, SCCPSS confirms
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System confirmed Beach High School is under lockdown. Campus police are currently searching the school.
School officials say there was a threatening message reported to school administrators Friday morning.
‘No evidence as of now that the threat is credible’
As of 10:08 a.m. Friday morning SCCPSS says there is no active shooter and no evidence the threat is credible.
The school is under precautionary lockdown while the search is ongoing.
