Balloons, smiles, and support: Community makes Jazmynn’s 3rd birthday unforgettable

RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WTOC) - Saturday and Sunday, locals in the Richmond Hill community, and people from surrounding areas all showed out in support of a 3-year-old girl’s birthday.

Jazmynn’s birthday parade was held at her house this weekend. People brought balloons, stuffed animals, and signs to celebrate her special day.

Her mother, Codylynn Allen said, “Today is Jazmynn’s third birthday party, and we are having a parade, a balloon parade. She loves people, and she loves balloons, so having both of her favorite things at one time,”

More than 200 people came by to help her celebrate. Our crews got to catch some of the birthday celebration.

“It’s amazing because she doesn’t get to go do other things most kids do, so we’re so happy that the community has come together to do something special for her. We appreciate everything everyone in this community has done for her and us and for our family; they’ve provided food for surgeries and everything,” said her mother, Codylynn.

Jazmynn’s mother also took to social media following the parade, thanking everyone for their support... Saying it meant the world to her and her family.

“This is crazy amazing. She’s very sweet, she smiles at everybody, she says hi, so if anybody gets the opportunity to see Jazmynn, just say hello, and she’ll say hi right back to you. She doesn’t know strangers; she’ll go talk to anybody.”

The parade wrapped up with a very happy Jazmynn, as she celebrates with her family into tonight.
