Bacon County Jail officer arrested
BACON COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - 26-year-old Bacon County Jail officer, Hernandez Robinson was terminated from employment and arrested on August 8th following an internal investigation.
According to the Bacon County Sheriff’s Office, an internal investigation revealed he brought in and provided contraband to inmates.
Robinson had only been employed with the Bacon County Sheriff’s Office for around four weeks before his arrest.

“This type of behavior will not be tolerated,” said Sheriff Andy Batten. “Mr. Robinson not only betrayed the trust of his fellow employees and the Sheriff’s Office, but he has committed a criminal act and must be held accountable.”
The sheriff’s office said this case remains under investigation.
