Back-to-school drive post-winter break in Liberty County
LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - As kids head back to school post-winter break, one community is stepping in to provide coats and uniforms to those in need.
Liberty County Tax Commissioner James E. Sharp III is hosting a “Back-to-School Drive: Winter Edition.”
- When? Saturday, Jan. 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Where? Bradwell Park | 107 S. Commerce Street | Hinesville, Georgia
- What? The back-to-school drive
The event gives back to Liberty County teachers, students, and families with free coats, school supplies, and uniforms.
There will also be a teacher’s relaxation zone, 3-point shootout, gift card giveaways, free haircuts, food trucks, face painting and more.
