Armed robbery report at Dollar General prompts police investigation
HAMPTON, SC (WTOC) - On the evening of September 9, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office reportedly assisted the Hampton Police Department in response to a reported armed robbery at the Dollar General on Elm Street in Hampton.
There were no reported injuries and no suspect was been identified.
The armed robbery allegedly occurred at the Dollar General located at 1201 Elm Street W. in Hampton, according to a social media post by the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident remains under active investigation, officials say.
