Applications for Statesboro’s environmental advisory board is Friday, Feb. 13
STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Statesboro is accepting applications for the Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful Advisory Board. The deadline to apply is this Friday, Feb. 13.
This eco-orientated board of members is focused on litter prevention, community beautification, and waste reduction. This board has also been entrusted to conduct research for city leaders and set priorities focused on “Keeping Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful”.
The board is made of six members appointed by the mayor and city council. Each appointed member is set to carry out a two-year term. Once appointed the board is scheduled to meet every third Monday at Statesboro City Hall located on East Main St.
