Adidas joins community for first Ahmaud Arbery Memorial Run in Brunswick
BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WTOC) - The Fifth Annual Ahmaud Arbery Memorial Run will be held in Brunswick for the first time, bringing the community together in remembrance and unity.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Old City Hall in Brunswick.
Hosted by the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation, the annual run continues its mission of promoting justice, community healing and positive change. Founder Wanda Cooper Jones will attend to honor her son’s life and legacy alongside supporters, runners and residents.
This year’s gathering centers on reflection, connection and togetherness. Participants can take part in a community run or walk and enjoy light refreshments. Complimentary T-shirts will be available while supplies last.
The event is supported by Adidas, local running groups and citizens of Glynn County who continue to stand in solidarity and remembrance.
Community members of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate.
