Additional charges brought against St. Helena Island mass shooting suspect
BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - Monday, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office announced they will be bringing 14 additional charges against Anferny Freeman, the man arrested in connection to the mass shooting at Willie’s Bar & Grill on St. Helena Island last year.
INITIAL CHARGES: Beaufort Co. Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in St. Helena mass shooting
Back in November, we reported that Freeman was charged with four counts of murder, one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and one count of aggravated breach of peace.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said he is also charged with 14 counts of assault and battery.
