5 inmates indicted for violent assault at Coastal State Prison
CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - An indictment filed by the Chatham County Superior Court names five inmates in relation to an aggravated assault incident that left several victims with multiple injuries at Coastal State Prison on June 18, 2025.
Micah Malik Horsey, Demetric Troy Williams, Moses Arthur Fedee, Rodriggas Laquincey Scott and Gerald Roshaun Rogers are each charged with various counts of unlawful criminal gang activity, unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution, false imprisonment, and aggravated assault, among others, in a 34-count indictment.

The indictment alleges these five, “associated with Bloods, a criminal street gang,” and unlawfully participated in criminal gang activity by committing aggravated assault by “fighting and causing bodily injury” to multiple victims, while being legally confined in Coastal State Prison.
The indictment says the assault involved hands which when used against the victims, “result in serious bodily injury.”
The indictment also noted the assault involved the use of a knife which, “did result in serious bodily injury by stabbing him in the hand.”
