2026 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run canceled due to ‘circumstances beyond our control’

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The 2026 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run scheduled for December is now cancelled.
A posting on the Enmarket Bridge Run website says the cancellation is due to the upcoming renovations to the Talmadge Memorial Bridge.
The annual event invites participants to challenge the 5.5% grade of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge by taking part in a 5K, 10K, and a 15K on the first Saturday each December.
The posting goes on to say, “We have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run. We know this is disappointing news. The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run has become a special tradition for so many runners, walkers, volunteers, and community partners, and we’re incredibly disappointed that circumstances beyond our control have prevented us from bringing the event to you this year.”
