2 injured in Evans County shooting, GBI requested
EVANS COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - WTOC reached out to law enforcement in Evans County for more information on a large police presence in the area.
The Claxton Police Chief told us that two people have been taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds. The Evans County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed to us that this incident is a shooting where two people were injured.
The Evans County Sheriff’s Office said they have requested the GBI for an investigation near Church Street and Savoy Road.
