2 Atlanta children at center of Amber Alert found; suspect in custody, police say
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An Amber Alert issued after a mother allegedly kidnapped her two children from their court-ordered guardian overnight has been canceled, according to Atlanta police.
Bernice Keys, 33, is accused of taking her 8-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. At the time of the alert, they were last seen driving away from the 400 Block of Carey Drive SE in a dark grey Jeep Cherokee.

With the help of the FBI and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana, Bernice has been arrested, Atlanta police said. Both children were found unhurt.
