19-year-old charged with attempted murder in Bluffton Target stabbing
RIDGELAND, S.C. (WTOC) - A 19-year-old Ridgeland man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old during a fight in the Target parking lot Saturday evening, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the Target parking lot in Bluffton shortly after 6 p.m. on December 27, 2025, for a reported stabbing. Officials say upon arrival, they found a 17-year-old male suffering from stab wounds.
The investigation revealed the victim was involved in a fight with another juvenile male in the parking lot. During the altercation between the two juveniles, another person retrieved a sharp object and stabbed the victim, deputies said. The subjects then fled the scene.
Suspect arrested in Jasper County

Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim for medical treatment.
Investigators identified 19-year-old Ramiro Arcos-Romero of Ridgeland as the subject who stabbed the victim. On December 28, 2025, he was arrested by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and transported to their detention center.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has charged Arcos-Romero with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime.
