1 teen found and in custody, search for 2 more in Beaufort continues

BEAUFORT COUNTY, Sc. (WTOC) - According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, one of the three missing teens who ran away from AMIkids Beaufort in Seabrook was found and taken into custody.

18-year-old Jaquan Sumpter was found and taken into custody on Saturday, August 22.

17-year-old Ayden Wilson and 14-year-old Jeremy McDonnell remain on the run, as of Sunday at 4:10 p.m.

The facility they were reported to have run away from is located at 60 Honeybee Island Road.

The two missing teens’ descriptions provided are:

Ayden Wilson, 17

• Approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 165 pounds
• Black dreadlocks and brown eyes
• Last seen wearing black shorts, a white T-shirt, and shower shoes

Jeremy McDonnell, 14

• Approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 130 pounds
• Short, curly brown hair and brown eyes
• Last seen wearing dark gray or black sweatpants, a white T-shirt, and shower shoes

Anyone who sees Wilson or McDonnell, or knows where they may be, should call the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office’s non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777.

Deputies warn the public not to approach or attempt to detain them. Instead, call law enforcement and provide their location and direction of travel.
