1 juvenile dead, 4 injured after overnight shooting
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Officers have reported that 1 juvenile has been pronounced dead, along with 4 other juveniles being injured after an overnight shooting.

On Dec. 23, at around 11:48 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male deceased at the scene. In addition, four other juveniles suffered gunshot wounds ranging from the ages of 15 to 17-years-old.

Officials say that two victims were transported to a hospital in Macon, where they remain in surgery; one victim is being treated for internal injuries. Two additional victims were treated at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital but have since been released.
