‘The cause is bigger’: Rep. Russell Fry endorses Sen. Darline Graham

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Former candidate Congressman Russell Fry announced he is endorsing Sen. Darline Graham for senate.

Fry released a statement saying Graham knows what it means to struggle, persevere, and keep fighting when life deals you a difficult hand.

The congressman is asking for everyone who supported his campaign to join him in supporting Graham in the U.S. senate runoff election on Aug. 25.

“Over the last several weeks, I traveled thousands of miles and talked with South Carolinians from every walk of life. Everywhere I went, I heard the same thing: life is too expensive, families are working harder just to keep up, and they want Washington to deliver.

That’s what our campaign was about: fighting for working families, advancing the America First agenda, and bringing a new generation of conservative leadership to Washington. Our campaign may be over, but that cause isn’t.

President Trump needs fighters and allies in the Senate who will show up every day and get results. I believe Darline Graham will be exactly that.

Darline knows what it means to struggle, persevere, and keep fighting when life deals you a difficult hand. Those experiences shaped her, and I believe they give her a real understanding of the challenges families across South Carolina face.

On August 25, I’m asking everyone who supported our campaign to join me in supporting Darline Graham for the United States Senate.

Campaigns are temporary. The cause is bigger than any one candidate.
