‘Feed Our City Food Giveaway’ held at Empowerment Center
GARDEN CITY, Ga. (WTOC) - Community members gathered on Saturday morning to prepare 1,000 plates of prepared food-to-go plus bags of food for Feed The Hungry’s “Feed Our City Food Giveaway.”
Organizers also had on-site health screenings to support community wellness.
WTOC’s Photojournalist Megan LeRoy showed how Saturday’s operations help those at the Empowerment Center on Augusta Road.
