‘No Kings’ protest held in Savannah
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Democrats are joining ‘No Kings’ rallies in all 50 states today and more than a dozen other countries to protest the policies of Donald Trump, many focused-on ICE and the war in Iran.
This afternoon, Savannah saw its third ‘No Kings’ protest since the beginning of 2026, drawing hundreds of locals to Emmet Park for a rally and march ending at City Hall. Key speakers included IAM Union International President Bryan Bryant and Savannah Pride Center’s Executive Director Michael Bell.

“From the first ‘No Kings’ to now, the third ‘No Kings’, we’ve seen a huge jump in the numbers of the amount of people who come out and want to exercise their first amendment right to protest. These demonstrations happen all across the country and there are a number of demonstrations that happen right here in Georgia, and Savannah is actually one of the largest demonstrations that we see in the state.” said Sarah Hunt-Blackwell, Senior Politics Council.
