by Dawn Baker

HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - On Welcome to Our Community, WTOC’s Dawn Baker got the opportunity to speak with Scarlett Chancey from the Stephen A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Cornerstone in Hinesville.

“Yes, so our clinic is located in Hinesville and we serve the post 9/11 veterans active duty service members, their families, Reserve, National Guard. Our clinic is founded on reducing barriers to care. We know that the families are there to take care of the service member when they are serving the country. We offer individual group services, family services, and couples therapy. We really try to ensure that we reduce barriers to care. We have in-person services, telehealth, so anywhere in the state of Georgia where they are to take care of the veterans and their families. We also have extended hours where we offer evening services to be able to accommodate after work and those barriers of child care,” said Chancey.
